Explore Our Capabilities

Experience shaped by complex transformation.

The Taft Group is a transformation and change advisory firm built around a simple belief:

Transformation succeeds when strategy, technology, operations, and people move together.

We work with organizations navigating moments when the stakes are high and the path isn’t always obvious: enterprise technology implementations, AI-enabled transformation, workforce modernization, operating-model change, and other initiatives that fundamentally change how work gets done.

Our role is to connect the dots between what an organization wants to achieve and what must actually change to make it happen.

We don’t measure transformation by launch dates.

  • A system can go live.
  • A new process can be introduced.
  • An AI tool can be deployed.

None of those things, by themselves, mean transformation happened.

We look further.

Are people working differently? Are leaders reinforcing the change? Are new capabilities being used? Is the organization realizing the business value it expected?

That’s the standard we bring to our work.

Because transformation isn’t complete when something launches. It’s complete when the organization can perform differently because of it.

Built in the real world.

Our perspective has been shaped through transformation work across healthcare, financial services and insurance, utilities and energy, life sciences, technology, consumer products, and higher education, including complex global environments spanning North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

We bring experience across enterprise technology, AI-enabled transformation, workforce adoption, organizational readiness, shared services, operating-model change, and transformation governance.

That breadth matters because complex transformations rarely stay inside one function.

Neither do we.

Experience is better when you can measure it.

Ricardo Williams

Technology & Enterprise Systems Leader

Ricardo brings extensive experience in enterprise technology, systems architecture, and IT transformation, with deep expertise across Oracle, PeopleSoft, operating systems, cloud technologies, and emerging artificial intelligence solutions.

His technical background spans the design, implementation, administration, integration, and long-term support of complex enterprise environments. He brings a particularly deep understanding of Oracle technologies and databases, combined with extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems and enterprise infrastructure.

Ricardo’s experience with PeopleSoft encompasses the critical technology and infrastructure that supports large-scale enterprise applications, integrations, databases, and business operations. His ability to understand both the application and the underlying technology allows him to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize environments, and develop practical solutions that keep mission-critical systems running.

As organizations evolve, Ricardo brings that same expertise to cloud transformation and artificial intelligence. He understands how legacy enterprise environments can be modernized through cloud adoption, automation, AI, and intelligent systems while maintaining security, reliability, performance, and business continuity.

His approach is straightforward:

Understand the technology. Understand the business. Simplify complexity. Solve the problem. Build for the future.

Whether supporting a critical Oracle environment, modernizing PeopleSoft infrastructure, navigating operating-system challenges, migrating workloads to the cloud, or identifying opportunities to leverage AI, Ricardo focuses on one objective: delivering technology solutions that work and create measurable value for the organization.

Strategy without execution is just a good idea.

We bring senior-level thinking without creating unnecessary complexity. Our work is practical, collaborative, and built around the needs of the organization, not a predetermined methodology.

We work alongside executives, transformation leaders, program teams, technology organizations, HR, operations, and business leaders to identify what needs to change, where risk exists, and what will turn strategy into sustainable execution.

We don’t believe in change for change’s sake.

We believe in helping organizations perform differently, and better.

The hardest transformations rarely come with a playbook.

That’s where experience, judgment, and the ability to connect strategy with execution matter most.

If your organization is navigating a transformation where technology, people, processes, and business performance all have to move together, we should talk.
